Double storey rear and basement extension in Hammersmith
WEA Planning are delighted to have obtained planning permission for a double storey rear extension and a basement extension for a terraced property on Kinnoul Road, Barons Court, Hammersmith after extensive consultation with the client team from design inception.
The applicant and WEA first met with the architect to discuss the constraints of the site and previous London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham objections to a first floor extension. WEA Planning then met London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham for a pre-application meeting to receive the Council’s advice about their project to extend their house.
Following feedback from the Council’s officer, WEA and the applicant chose to submit a planning application for the desired design with some known potential areas of objection. As a result of a detailed planning statement and extension negotiation, WEA Planning convinced the planning and design officers that the scheme was in fact acceptable.
With collaboration and the suggested approach advised by WEA Planning, the client achieved a positive outcome allowing the client to build their desired extension!
